mp3: http://bit.ly/oRYyiV A musical investigation into the nature of atoms and subatomic particles, the jiggly things that make up everything we see. Featuring Morgan Freeman, Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, Brian Cox, Richard Feynman, and Frank Close.
"The Quantum World" is the eleventh installment in the ongoing Symphony of Science music video series. Materials used in the creation of this video are from:

Special thanks to everybody who's donated to keep the project alive and to those who helped track down the materials used in this video.
*Please note that dark matter and dark energy are considered to make up a majority of the universe, in addition to the 12 particles and 4 forces.
Lyrics:
[Morgan Freeman] So, what are we really made of? Dig deep inside the atom and you'll find tiny particles Held together by invisible forces
Everything is made up Of tiny packets of energy Born in cosmic furnaces
[Frank Close] The atoms that we're made of have Negatively charged electrons Whirling around a big bulky nucleus
[Michio Kaku] The Quantum Theory Offers a very different explanation Of our world
[Brian Cox] The universe is made of Twelve particles of matter Four forces of nature
That's a wonderful and significant story
[Richard Feynman] Suppose that little things Behaved very differently Than anything big
Nothing's really as it seems It's so wonderfully different Than anything big
The world is a dynamic mess Of jiggling things It's hard to believe
[Kaku] The quantum theory Is so strange and bizarre Even Einstein couldn't get his head around it
[Cox] In the quantum world The world of particles Nothing is certain It's a world of probabilities
(refrain)
[Feynman] It's very hard to imagine All the crazy things That things really are like
Electrons act like waves No they don't exactly They act like particles No they don't exactly
[Stephen Hawking] We need a theory of everything Which is still just beyond our grasp We need a theory of everything, perhaps The ultimate triumph of science
(refrain)
[Feynman] I gotta stop somewhere I'll leave you something to imagine
Comments on "Symphony of Science - the Quantum World!"
This is actually ... This is actually pretty awesome not just because it's purely a good song but because you learn from this. This would be even better if each song included stuff about one particular thing about physics for example. With a catchy melody like this you will listen to it many many times and learn at the same time..but as I said, it's awesome as it is!?
My? science teacher ... My? science teacher always shows this 2 my class nd we all sing along 2 it
I eagerly await ... I eagerly await your own and perfect 'non-sucky' works.
This? and the rest of Symphony of Science are a masterpiece!
1:19 to 1:28? its ... 1:19 to 1:28? its best part XD
me? too me? too
thank? you thank? you
"We're"*? "We're"*?
You got it, my ... You got it, my friend. Leave them to their burning bushes. We have a universe to explore.? :-)
Actually God made ... Actually God made the universe. Not this satanic "matter" you are talking about. You are going to hell. (Intentional trolling :) )?
If theres something ... If theres something here that? sucks, its you!
where? gonna have ... where? gonna have fun with science
Your IQ must? be 40 ... Your IQ must? be 40 to not realize the point of this video.
Feynman was the ... Feynman was the amazing shaman of science: "I gotta stop somewhere. I'll leave you something to imagine." This is the gift of science and neo-shamanism/pantheism, that there is always something more to? imagine, to dream, to expand our world. No matter how much we discover, there will always be a function of "god in the gaps" that inspires us to reach further, to test ourselves harder, to achieve the next step, to unify the disparate elements of our understanding. The challenge is infinity!
I'm similar.? I'm similar.?
.?l?l?ll|???????? ... .?l?l?ll|????????|???=???|???????|ll?l?l?.? Download this video as MP3 with uGet, site: uget .in
HAHAHAHAHA ITS? ... HAHAHAHAHA ITS? FUNNY CUZ THEY SAID THAT IN TEH SONG ROFLMAO SOOO FUNY
i dont consider it ... i dont consider it criticism. criticism should be constructive not just "this sucks" or "it doesn't even? have pitch-change" (like every video has to have it???)
You don't need to ... You don't need to do something better to criticize, for f**k's sake. I love this video, but this guy did provide arguments to back up his claim. You're just butthurt and you use this stupid argument. Tell me more about you never criticize something while you didn't do something better.?
Thank you very much ... Thank you very much!?
This is some wild ... This is some wild s**t. The universe is so freakin awesomely stupendous that we can't even begin to imagine what it's like to even be able to fathom such a grand concept. The melody makes it rather difficult for me to focus? on what was being said. But the music was pleasing to my ears :) Thx!
This video has made ... This video has made me think? so much that i want to cry just thinking about everything in this universe that we cant explain. Its just so amazing...
i meant before? that i meant before? that
cool i'm glad? we ... cool i'm glad? we agree to disagree
i know...I don't? ... i know...I don't? like math on its own, but when science is involved i get excited
for some reason i ... for some reason i like ancient history and don't like modern? history
Thanks, Slopoke? Thanks, Slopoke?
if they could bring ... if they could bring science? videos like this to schools, theres no telling how smart kids would be!
When I saw Steven ... When I saw Steven Hawking I immediately thought "built in auto-tune"?
You can't prove ... You can't prove Buddhism wrong;? just like you can't prove god does not exist.
